DESCRIPTION:3rd Annual AAMP BENEFIT CONCERT SET FOR CASA CANTINA\nFundraiser event including live music\, raffle and silent auction. \nThe Athens Artists Memorial Project (AAMP) will be holding its third annual fundraiser concert at the Casa Cantina\, on Tuesday\, October 8\, from 5 pm to 9 pm. Admission is FREE and the event is open to the public. Casa is located at 6 West State Street in Athens\, Ohio. \nAAMP provides music and arts assistance to those in need\, in memory of local artists and musicians who have passed on. Our mission to channel charitable funds to people in Southeast Ohio with limited opportunities to experience and participate in music and the the arts. \nIn 2022\, AAMP became official 501C3 Non-profit corporation\, and is celebrating its 3rd successful year with this official fundraising event. \nPlease note: While Casa’s restaurant is closed on Tuesdays\, the Cantina will be open and will have Tacos\, Desserts and Chips and Salsa from 5-8pm available for the event (order from the bar.) \nThis event will feature: \nMusic by Frank McDermott\, Jerrod Goggans\, and performances by the Stuarts Opera House “After School Music Program” led by Adam Remnant as well as Athens’ favorite Coralilly. \nRaffle items and silent auction with musical instruments\, as well as work from local artists\, and merchandise from local businesses. \nSpeeches by AAMPs Board President Roman Warmke\, and remarks from other parties. \nAny and all donations made or raised at this event will be matched by AAMP’s generous benefactors Lucian and Lori Spataro\, up to $2\,500.00.
